Massive Attack - Silent Spring

I fell inlove with this song the first time i heard it, and I tried to understand in what language the lyrics are. The singer in this song is the amazing Elizabeth Fraser, from the Cocteau Twins, who has a very unique style of singing. She sings in a melismatic style , which is the singing of a single syllable of text while moving between several different notes in succession (thanks Wikipedia :)), and that makes the words sound different. This song is a collaboration with Massive Attack and is featured in their album "Collected" (2006). I love this quirky style and the lyrics as well!

(There is no official vidoe to this song and this is the only thing I could find...)

Massive Attack feat Elizabeth Fraser - Silent Spring

Boy brought power
To b-obey
Hear me call
To b-obey
To b-obey
I seek him clothe
Come shush-hush
A shrewd bow to b-obey (we are but bound to b-obey)
I seek him clothe (we are but bound to b-obey)
Come shush-hush (we are but bound to b-obey)
A shrewd bow to b-obey (we are but bound to b-obey)
I seek him clothe (we are but bound to b-obey)
Come shush-hush
